Everything about absences
Here you will learn how to record, edit and filter absences.

Add absence

  1. In the left-hand menu, under "Case Management", select the menu item "Absences" .
  2. Click on "Add absence" .



Enter the following information:

  • Employee:
  • type
  • Start date
  • End date
  • Incapacity for work
  • Hours (optional)


Confirm the details by clicking "Add" .




The absence is then displayed at the top of the list.


  1. To discard the changes, click the reset icon.
  2. To save the changes, click "Save" at the top.




Edit absences

You have two options for managing absences:


1. Edit directly in the table

When you move the mouse over a field, an edit icon (pencil) appears .
Click here to adjust the following data:


  • Start date
  • End date
  • Hours
  • Incapacity for work (Abs%)
  • Absence type
  • Comments


2. Edit via the context menu


Option 1: Right-click
Right-click on the desired absence.
You can select one or multiple absences.


Option 2: Menu icon (three dots)

  1. Select one or multiple absences.
  2. Click on the menu icon (three dots) next to absence.




The following options are available to you there:


1. Bulk change

Change the absence type or the degree of incapacity for work for one or multiple entries at the same time.



Review the edited absence(s).
A purple circle next to the “Comments” field indicates the edited absence(s).


  1. To discard the changes, click the reset icon .
  2. To save the changes, click "Save" at the top .



2. Select a color tag

  1. Assign a color tag to the absence or absences .
  2. Review the edited absence(s).
    • A purple circle is displayed next to the "Comments" field . This marks the edited absences .
  3. Click the reset icon to discard the changes.
  4. Click "Save" above to apply the changes.




2.1 Remove the color tag

  1. Select the absence(s) with the corresponding color label.
  2. Open the context menu as described in step 2: Editing via the context menu .
  3. Select the color tag .
  4. Select "Remove color tag" .
  5. Click "Save" above to apply the changes.



3. Delete

Delete the selected absence.
A confirmation window will appear.



Filter absences

Select the filter icon to filter absences.


The following filters are available:

  • Absence type
  • Absence period
  • Accounting group
  • Accounting month
  • Color Tag
  • Source




The applied filters are displayed above the absence list.

  • The first icon saves the filter settings.
  • The second symbol resets the filters.


Select the desired options to narrow down the list accordingly.




Absences are now added, edited, and filtered.
